» RECOVERING MOTOR FUNCTIONS
Achieving full motility without pain
The aim of this step is to enable patients to recover the full motility of joints or to perform specific movements without pain. In this step, the experience and skills of the physiotherapists are essential, because an excessively aggressive or mild approach could, respectively, increase pain or rigidity. The research projects carried out by Easytech suggest that prompt and safe results can be achieved by using devices with a Controlled Elastic Force along with Isokinetic devices that enable the physiotherapist to customize and control loads. Elasticity and extensibility can also be improved with the aid of appropriate devices designed to apply or subtract heat, like those for Smartherapy and Hyperthermia.
